Risks & Safety Requirements of Guests & Visitors to Running Creek Cottage & Running Creek Beef Farm: As a farm is inherently an unsafe environment guests must be aware of the risks. At a minimum guests are required to where closed-in shoes when exploring the farm at all times. A light weight shoe is HIGHLY recommended to be worn when in the creek.

Long pants are also recommended when walking in the grass. Snakes are present on the farm especially in warmer weather so awareness is vital. Whilst sightings are not common guests are advised not to sit on fallen logs put their hands in small dark places outside and to always look where they are walking.

Children must be heavily supervised at all times as the Cottage fence is designed to keep the cattle and horses out but not the children in. Additionally Running Creek is unfenced and accessible thus presenting a drowning hazard to children. Once again children of any age and also teenagers must be supervised to ensure their safety. Swinging off tress or jumping into the creek is NOT allowed and highly dangerous.

A small amount of firewood is provided.
