Just an 80 minute drive from Adelaide and in the heart of the Barossa Valley - a paradise for lovers of wine, food and nature. The Barossa Motel is a quiet haven where visitors can holiday or recharge in total tranquillity. Located 1.5 km north of the Post Office in Tanunda.
All accommodation is ground floor with undercover parking. Spacious rooms and grounds.
Outdoor summer use swimming pool. Guest laundry and BBQ. Tennis Facilities. Winery tours can be arranged.

From Airport, turn right onto Sir Donald Bradman Drive, turn left onto South Road, turn right onto Grand Junction Road. At Gepps Cross intersection, take the second road to the left onto Main North Road heading towards Gawler.
Continue 38 km to Gawler but continue on the bypass road around Gawler heading north.
Approx 4 km north of Mallala-Willaston-Gawler turnoff, turn right onto Gomersal Road and travel to Tanunda approx 20minutes. At the Tanunda Caravan Park, turn left onto Murray Street/Barossa Valley Way.
Continue approx 3 km, through the main shopping centre and TWO sets of pedestrian traffic lights. Our motel is on the left hand side of the road, approximately 1/5km north of the Tanunda Post Office.

Cancellation Policy

The Barossa Motel accepts Mastercard Visa Card American Express. A 2% surcharge applies to American Express and a 1.5% surcharge applies to all other credit card transactions. Flexible Rate reservations require a credit card to secure the reservation only and will not be charged until time of arrival. Pre-paid non-refundable rates require a credit card for full pre-payment at time of reservation. The Motel Reception will be required to process a pre-authorisation of $50.00 on this card at time of arrival for bond and incidental items per Hotel policy and procedures. This pre-authorisation will be held between the bank and the hotel until such time as settlement by the same card occurs and/or per the cardholder???s financial institution policy. A $100.00 cash bond per night maybe accepted in place of a credit card at managements discretion. The bond is to be held by the hotel until check-out and returned to the guest unless there is a breach of any of the below:
- activation of the fire alarm due to any reason other than a fire;
- smoking within the property;
- delay in check out other than with prior approval from the property management;
- lost keys;
- property damage.

The Barossa Motel reserves the right to relocate any booking to a hotel of same standard if the circumstances arise. Guests must be at least 18 years of age to book hotels on this website. The Barossa Motel does not accept liability for any errors or omissions on this website. The Barossa Motel makes every effort to ensure all information is accurate however cannot guarantee that the site is free from errors or faults. The Barossa Motel has a strict no party policy if at all we suspect your booking may violate this policy we will have your booking cancelled. At check-in if we suspect your booking is going to cause other guests some disruption/discomfort your booking will be refused and no refund issued.
